Variable volume barrel inherits the foaming precision of the small barrel and also has the characteristics of high efficiency of the large barrel. The raw materials can be turned 360° in the barrel evenly. The uniformity of the foam particles is also very good.
The feeding and discharging speed of the conical barrel is very fast. The feeding speed is increased by 50%, and the dis-charging efficiency is increased by 65%.
Variable volume barrel optimizes the EPS pre-expansion mechanism and heating process, and has the characteristics of high efficiency and high output. The amount of steam required to prepare one ton of materials can be saved by 20%.
It pre-expands black suspended graphite materials through a special heating process, which has a higher expansion ratio than conventional preexpanders.
Stirring with special stirring knife can prevent material blocking and sinking at the bottom.
The expansion parameters and formulas are stored in the PLC, and the operator only needs to retrieve them from the PLC, so the pre-expansion quality does not depend on the level of the operator.
